Our Governance
Governed by a Volunteer Board
Amiskwaciy Cultural Society is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides strategic leadership, governance oversight and stewardship for the organization.
The Board helps protect the Society’s mission, values, cultural foundation, financial sustainability and long-term direction. Its work is grounded in accountability, thoughtful decision-making and a commitment to ensuring Indigenous children and families remain at the centre of the organization’s purpose.
Board authority is exercised collectively. Individual Directors do not independently direct the organization or its employees; decisions are made through the Board as a governing body in accordance with the Society’s Bylaws and governance requirements.
