Joining the Board
Board service is an opportunity to contribute knowledge, leadership and experience toward the long-term strength of Amiskwaciy Cultural Society.
From time to time, the Society may seek individuals who bring experience in areas such as:
- Governance
- Finance
- Law
- Early childhood development
- Education
- Indigenous community development
- Human resources
- Strategic planning
- Fund development
- Communications
- Community leadership
Board members are expected to prepare for and participate in meetings, contribute thoughtfully to governance discussions, maintain confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest and act in the best interests of the Society as a whole.
